Wild Horizons has named Ace Connect its official sales and marketing representative in India, a move aimed at widening the Southern African operator’s reach into the subcontinent’s expanding luxury‑travel market.
Partnership targets Indian travel trade
The agreement will see Ace Connect promote Wild Horizons’ portfolio to travel agents and tour operators across the country. The focus is on building brand awareness among firms that cater to high‑end and experience‑driven travellers. According to Shane White, chief marketing officer, “India has emerged as one of the most promising source markets for luxury and experiential travel.”
White added that Indian visitors “are seeking authentic, immersive journeys and exceptional service, qualities that define their experience.” He said the partnership lets the company “engage more closely with the Indian travel trade while expanding awareness of our diverse portfolio across Southern Africa.” The statement also notes a respect for “traditional booking channels that have long served our trade partners.”

Alpa Jani, chief executive of Ace Connect, said, “Wild Horizons is one of Southern Africa’s most respected tourism brands, offering a unique combination of luxury lodges, adventure, wildlife, conservation and destination expertise.” Jani highlighted the appeal of Victoria Falls, calling the destination “an ideal choice for Indian travellers seeking exceptional experiences, a strong connection with nature.”
Wild Horizons’ product range
Operating since 1981, Wild Horizons runs a portfolio that covers accommodation, transfers, guided tours and wildlife encounters. Its collection includes The Elephant Camp, Old Drift Lodge, The Wallow Lodge and Waterfalls Lodge, all situated near Victoria Falls and the surrounding region.
The company also offers adventure activities as part of its portfolio.

Responsibility is part of the model. The operator is a Travelife Partner and holds Fair Trade Tourism approval, signalling compliance with sustainability standards. The firm runs a wildlife sanctuary, collaborates with UNICEF Zimbabwe and funds community projects in the Victoria Falls area.
