Gleneagles Hotel has unveiled its newest and most luxurious residence, the Tower Suite, set beneath the Ochil Hills. This lavish one-bedroom suite is located in the hotel’s original tower, which once housed the library, and now offers a private rooftop terrace with sweeping views of the Scottish countryside.
The Tower Suite’s design draws on the hotel’s Art Deco origins and the romance of rail travel, created by award-winning AIME Studios. The suite boasts unrivalled spaces for dinner parties and group gatherings, with a hallway featuring monochrome marble, high gloss burgundy resin, and Art Deco pattern gold wallpaper.
A staircase connects the private dining room, sitting room, and atmospheric library, which leads to the rooftop terrace through a secret door. The ten-seat dining room features timber clad walls, herringbone flooring, and a Ming Green marble bar, making it perfect for lingering dinners or working sessions.
The Tower Suite is designed to provide a tailored experience for each guest, with a single point of contact from reservation to departure. The host ensures that every stay is built around the guest’s preferences, from morning coffee to dinner reservations and activities like padel lessons or salmon fishing.

The bedroom features a hand-painted bespoke mural by artist Nancy Daniell, a custom-designed four-poster bed, and bespoke joinery in walnut, mahogany, and burl. The ensuite bathroom is clad in marble, with an Arabescato arch framing the shower and bath, and a dramatic curtained bath with a unique marble top and front.
The redesign of the Tower Suite draws on the hotel’s origins in the 1920s, with a distinctly Scottish material palette layering glossy lacquer, gleaming brass, and rich timber. The suite features an eclectic mix of vintage and antique furniture, alongside bespoke pieces and fabrics from renowned designers.
The Tower Suite at Gleneagles is now available to book. Guests can book their stay through the hotel’s website, gleneagles.com/stay/suites/tower-suite.
