Fairmont Hotels and Resorts has entered the Thai market with the opening of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, marking the brand’s debut in the country. The property, developed in partnership with Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), is located in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit neighbourhood. The hotel features 416 guestrooms and 58 suites, alongside dining options, wellness facilities, and extensive meeting spaces.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit was designed by the Thai architectural and interior practice PIA, taking inspiration from Thailand’s botanical heritage. Floral influences appear throughout the guestrooms and public areas. A central lobby chandelier, inspired by the golden ratchaphruek—the national flower—comprises 4,166 glass pieces and more than 35,000 crystal balls. The design blends residential-style interiors with social gathering spaces to accommodate both individual stays and larger celebrations.

Dining is a major component of the new hotel, with seven venues scheduled to open progressively through 2026. Harper’s offers a North American-French brasserie concept blending Parisian and New York influences. AELA Social Bar transitions from a daytime lounge into a cocktail venue in the evening. CAYA Pool Club draws inspiration from Bangkok’s night markets, offering contemporary interpretations of Thai street food and cocktails.
Another venue, Wiggle Room, is scheduled to open in mid-September 2026. Located beneath the hotel with a private entrance from Sukhumvit Soi 18, the supper club will combine live music, cabaret-inspired performances, cocktails, and dining around a dedicated stage. The culinary portfolio will expand further in December with two concepts across levels 32 and 33, one combining Italian and Japanese influences and the other focusing on contemporary Thai cuisine.
